These Martial Arts Books and eBooks Are Different
In addition to free martial arts articles and self defense reports, Kerwin Benson Publishing offers a great line of martial arts books. We don't offer hundreds of titles. There are less than a dozen, as of the last update to this site.
Would you like to know why we focus on a limited number of martial arts books?
Let's cut to the chase ...
I think these books and ebooks are better than a lot of what you'll find out there. There -- I said it.
It may sound like a bold statement (with bragging thrown in), but I am prepared to back up my claim -- after all, I am the author. Bear with me ....
I became a martial-arts writer, because I felt that a lot of the martial-arts books didn't teach you how. Sure, there were a few gems of martial arts out there, but most of the books were "fluffy." Some talked history. Some showed a few basic-beyond-belief moves. But that was about it.
It seemed like these authors were holding back valuable information (if they had it to give in the first place). Readers needed more.
Diligent martial artists deserve to learn quality information ....
Practical (But Not Boring) Martial Arts Information
All of the books and ebooks offered by Kerwin Benson Publishing are different -- in a good way. Let me give you some examples:

Wrist Locks:
When I wrote
Wrist Locks: From Protecting Yourself to Becoming an Expert, there were no other books solely on the subject of wrist locks, joint locks, and arm bars. Sure, there were books on particular styles that included a few locks, but they didn't teach any practical application.
You need to learn more than those style books offer. Even though Wrist Locks is filled with great wrist locks, joint locks, and arm bars, it takes you beyond technique. You discover how to reverse and counter wrist locks (even unfamiliar ones), how to flow from one joint lock to another, and so much more.
The ebookThe Punch Papers was a bit of a fluke. It's not really a book. It's more of a collection of articles on punching harder, faster, and more efficiently -- with a dozen or so new chapters added.

Martial Arts ezine
Martial Arts Mastery subscribers wrote and told me how useful the articles on punching were. They wanted more.
The Punch Papers was the result.
Note: The Punch Papers must be useful --
a couple of the chapters have been stolen and posted
on Web Sites. Rest assured, we pursue each and every
plagiarizer we find. I guess the articles wouldn't be stolen
unless they were that good.
I could go on:
Secrets of Teaching Martial Arts More Effectively came into being, because the only book out on how to teach martial arts was more of a blank journal. With my Master's Degree that emphasized Teaching Methodology, I felt I could do better. Advanced martial artists deserved methods for helping their students improve at a faster rate. I also wanted to give everyone advice for working toward becoming an outstanding teacher.

10 Days to Better
Knife Fighting
With
10 Days to Better Knife Fighting, the goal was to help martial artists of all levels develop efficient reactions with a knife. I was amazed and appalled at how many practitioners try to apply a block-then-counter mentality to their knife fighting. It's a different game.
Each book is different from other books on the market. And each book comes with a 100% money-back guarantee.
